Our training courses are normally carried out over a weekend. Mod 1 test is then on the Monday with continued training after test and MOD 2 test on the Friday. We endeavour to give as much training on the Friday but we are restricted to DVSA time slots. If you are unsuccessful with your MOD 1 test you can continue with your training and we will get you in again as soon as possible. There will be additional test fees payable in this scenario.

You can not ride a motorbike or moped on the road unless the rider has a valid CBT certificate (this is a legal requirement), this can only be obtained from an Approved Training Body (ATB) and is issued only on completion of the training.

This is valid for two years and must be presented to the examiner when the rider turns up for his or her DAS test on any category of motorbike or moped.

Training can be taken on any type of motorbike which include mopeds & automatics, one certificate covers all other types. A lot of motorbike insurance will not issue any insurance certificate to a learner until a valid CBT certificate has been obtained.
